Korean Traditional Restaurant, Sannae-Deulnae,
is from the words, San-naeum Deul-naeum
that means the fragrance of
flowers and clean air of mountains and
fields in the countryside. We named our restaurant
with the hope that the aroma of our fantastic and delicious
Korean traditional foods will allure people from
all over the world so everyone can enjoy our Korean traditional
foods.
We have studied Korean traditional foods for more than 30 years
to find out what is truly traditional and our unique taste of
all Korean dishes in Sannae-Deulnae
is the result of our efforts. We follow the traditional cooking
methods yet we serve it in ways that all the young people and
foreigners will enjoy eating. Instead of serving the food by
the Korean traditional table setting, we serve all the foods
in separate dishes so everyone can enjoy the full variety of
Korean foods in small amounts.
At Sannae-Deulnae, we serve our
side dishes and appetizer on the shelf called Salgang so people
can take as much as they want. This is a way not to waste foods.
We make our best efforts to use the ingredients harvested in
Korea in season and not to use any artificial spices & seasonings.
|
We don't pre-cook foods. Instead we start cooking when it is
ordered. Usually it takes some time to serve our foods but it
is worth waiting! We hope you will enjoy the foods as you relax.
In the Dinning Hall, you can look inside the kitchen and see
how we prepare the foods. Our simple design with only tables
and chairs will create a fairly casual and relaxing atmosphere
accentuated with some traditional Korean antiques.
Sannae-Deulnae is a leading Korean
traditional restaurant to create a friendly atmosphere for everyone
to dine in. |
